“We are ‘NOT’ living in the days of wrath and Judgment”.
There is a lot of misunderstanding going around that the catastrophes we are seeing today all around us are the ‘wrath and judgment of God’.
And nothing could be further from the truth. As a believer in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, here is what “SCRIPTURE” has to say:
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,” [1 Thessalonians 5:9]
It’s the best and safest place we can be in. It’s a Living Hope.
We are still living in days of God’s Grace, ‘NOT’ in days of wrath and judgment.
God’s Purpose In This Age Of Grace
We today are living in a period of time called “The Age Of Grace”.
God is dealing with the entire human race “only” through the message of Grace in this Age of Grace.
The ‘sole purpose’ of God today is, “to take out a people for His Name” [Acts 15:14].
HE has no other agenda, and will not deal with the human race outside the boundaries of this era of Grace, which He has instituted according to His Purpose.
The moment one places their faith in the “Grace Gospel Message” by only believing, “that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and was raised for our justification” [1 Corinthians 15:1-4] and [Romans 4:25], they are saved.
Furthermore, they are sealed for a life of eternity in heaven, which is our eternal destination.
The Bible tells us that we are now “Citizens of Heaven” [Philippians 3:20].
This is an “Irrevocable Citizenship” [Romans 11:29].
This is a free Gift of God for everyone and anyone who will just believe + nothing else. We ‘do not’ have to work for it, hence we can never earn it.
We certainly don’t deserve it. Therefore, it is only by His Grace, that we get this Gift.
This is a message of true hope, the Mighty Hand and outstretched Arm of God, reaching out to all men unconditionally, to save them from what is to come.
For there is a “wrath” that is to come out there in the near future, and it from that coming “wrath” that God is saving us from.
Abounding Grace
There is “Abounding and unlimited Grace” available, that the worst of sinners can walk into unconditionally, just as they are, in whichever state they are.
The Bible tells us that, “where sin abounds, Grace abounds much more” [Romans 5:20].
The Call of God is “just come as you are, I will receive you” [Matthew 11:28-30]. “You may not stay as you are, but come as you are”.
There are no strings attached to this call and invitation. Just a believing heart.
The Gospel of Grace message is NOT about do’s and don’ts. It is NOT a religious message with a religious order.
Every person is struggling desperately with something deep within their lives, and they know it.
There is so much about ourselves that we hate, and we fail miserably every time we try and do something about it.
And here’s the thing; GOD KNOWS IT TOO.
What The Grace Message Is Not
The Grace message is not about sorting out your life and then coming to God.
Most of us struggle to do that and we don’t want anyone to know. There seem to be so many barriers. Very often we feel so unworthy.
The Grace message still says, “just come as you are. Don’t try and sort yourself out. Just come. You’ll be accepted just as you are”.
And when we do, it’s amazing how much the Lord will see us through and overcome.
It will truly be a start of a brand new journey. It’s ever too early and never too late. You’ll always be on time.
If you have breath in you, then you are perfectly on time. AGE IS NO BARRIER. We are talking about eternity here.
HERE is what GOD has to say to you:
“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert” [Isaiah 43:18-19].
Hope, belief and trust in Christ Jesus becomes a true “Life Changer”, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” [2 Corinthians 5:17].
Citizens Of Heaven
Having now become “Citizens of Heaven” [Philippians 3:20], God leaves us here on earth to be “Ambassadors”. The Bible tells us, “ Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us” [2 Corinthians 5:20].
Having embraced this Living Hope for ourselves, we want to pass it on and share it with others, as God creates opportunities to do so.
Paul our designated apostle tells us this in [2 Corinthians 5:18-19]:
“All things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation”.
Yes, we have today a ministry of reconciliation. Paul tells us that, “God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them”.
There is certainly no “wrath” in this agenda. On the other hand, it is “reconciliation”.
Paul further stresses that God has, “committed unto us the word of reconciliation”.
So then, what is the “word of reconciliation”. IT IS THE GOSPEL OF OUR SALVATION.
Sharing This Hope With Others
There are people in our lives whom we dearly love. People in our immediate family, relatives, close friend and neighbours who desperately need to hear this message of Hope.
We don’t want anyone to miss out on this wonderful and infallible Hope of eternity in Heaven.
As a believer in Christ Jesus, you become a carrier of this Hope for the world around you. You become their only hope. They don’t know how much they need you, but you do, for you know there is no other Truth.
Along with our freedom, comes this burden.
THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE BEEN SAVED FOR.
AND it’s NOT by Law, but by “GRACE ALONE”.
Every area of our lives is now dominated by GRACE and GRACE ALONE.
Life in the LORD JESUS CHRIST begins with ‘Grace Alone’ and will end with ‘Grace Alone’.
NO MORE LAW – “Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman” [Galatians 4:30]
Your Labour And Effort Will Not Go Unnoticed
The Bible promises. “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, ‘knowing’ that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” [1 Corinthians 15:58].
Yes, there are great, unimaginable and incorruptible rewards that God promises.
“NOTHING WILL BE IN VAIN”
