Setting a record straight is an important aspect of our lives. It is in reality, the voice of truth.
Scripture is the “Voice of Heaven” that really does set the record straight.
This voice will without doubt, both take us and sustain us on this journey of life”.
It is the much needed nourishment for our souls that can see us through any and every circumstance of life.
This voice enables us to persevere with patience, especially during those rough times when we need to go against the grain of the world.
How wonderful and marvellous it is to have the ‘voice of truth” always accessible and at hand when needed.
“For I did not come to judge / condemn the world but to save the world” [John 12:47].
When Jesus, the Son of God was on earth, He was the very voice of heaven.
And He made this very emphatic and important statement.
Scripture further emphasises that “God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” [John 3:17].
The fact that this is voiced twice virtually in the same Breath, shows absolute emphasis.
This stands good for us even today.
Isn’t it good & relieving to know that God is not a God who condemns, but He is a God who wants to save?
So if God says He does not condemn, then who is man to condemn?
Settle this Truth once and for all, in your hearts today, because that is Who He is.
HE is not Who we have been led to believe.
Many of us have grown thinking God is hard-hearted and unmerciful. That He is a fiery-eyed God with a rod of iron in His Hands, looking to slay every sinner on the face of this planet.
This may sound far-fetched, but it is true that there are many of us who think so.
Because that is what has been fed into our ears.
And it is still going on today more than ever, in many subtle deceptive ways.
We can often go in to hear a message to uplift us, but then come away disappointed.
In fact we can feel worse than when we went in.
We come out feeling and sensing the judgmental Sword of God looming large over our heads.
And it’s like we are waiting for the axe to fall. THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO BE IN AT ALL.
His Great And True Attributes
God is saturated with Great Attributes and they are all true, and contrary to what we may have previously believed.
We want to show you that God is a God who is full of Truth, Love, Mercy, Grace, Compassion, Gentleness, Goodness, Meekness & Humility.
He is One Who can Personally identify with each & every part of your being & nature.
Scripture tells us that God can be “touched with the feeling of your infirmities” [Hebrews 4:15].
HE can be touched with our weaknesses without ever pointing a finger at us.
We men point fingers. GOD NEVER DOES.
SO, “Shout unto God with the voice of triumph” [Psalm 47:1]
“For when I am weak, Then am I strong” [2 Corinthians 12:10].
